Very rarley we may charge a $275 fee which will only occur if you are getting a quote for restumping as part of your pre-purchase inspection and/or due diligence, OR if the property owner is unable to attend site to meet our estimator

If this is the case, then the $275 price is fully refundable if you proceed with restumping works.

Restumping quotes don’t require plans or engineering. In most cases, all that is required is an onsite meeting with the client to assess the areas that require repair.

Alternatively, if you just have a small job that requires the replacement of one to ten stumps then you’re more than welcome to send some photographs and a bried description through.

How many stumps need replacing?
How high off the ground is your house? (approx)
What type of stumps need replacing? (steel, concrete or timber)
Are they cracked?
Is your house level and do you need a quote for a relevel?

As a general guide, most average sized restumping projects fall between $800 and $1,200 per stump when quoted over the phone. This is the standard starting point, but the final price will depend on access, soil conditions, stump type, and the overall scope of the job.

Restumping Estimates

• 1 stump: $1,200 to $2,500
• 2 to 3 stumps: $2,000 to $4,500
• 4 to 7 stumps: $5,000 to $12,000
• 8 or more stumps: Typically $800 to $1,200 per stump

Because there are usually other factors to allow in completing the job, such carpentry, concreting, levelling, plumbing and electrical works then prices will be customised.

It should also be noted that the price per stump to replace one or two stumps will be more than if doing several stumps.
