We’ve been getting a lot of questions about our current project in Bardon, so here’s a little more context about this exciting and challenging job:

1️⃣ The Project: We’re working on a commercial transformation! Two houses are being raised as part of a project to create a childcare center with an adjoining carpark. These homes are character listed, meaning they can’t be knocked down, so raising them was the only option to create space for the new build underneath.

2️⃣ Current Stage: While you can’t see it from the top, a lot of civil infrastructure work is happening below ground right now. Both houses are sitting 2.5 meters above the final floor level to allow for a suspended slab to be built below. Once that’s done in around 3 to 4 months, the houses will be carefully lowered onto the newly built slab.

3️⃣ Safety First: Every house we raise is engineered to the highest standards and complies with all safety laws and regulations. So yes, it’s 100% legit.

4️⃣ Our Expertise: We’ve been raising homes since 2010, handling over 150 houses every year. Trust us, this isn’t our first rodeo!

5️⃣ Innovative Techniques: At Raise My House, we’ve pioneered a method using telescopic posts, making it possible to safely raise houses and construct a suspended slab beneath them.
